Schedule for the 34th International Games Festival
The International Games Festival has surprises galore and an all-round schedule for its 34th outing.
Thursday February 20th 2020 at 7.30pm, see the winners of the Golden Ace for the best games awarded by a panel of passionate and renowned gamers in the field. Founded by Cannes Council in 1988, it's now the cultural benchmark for the best board games. There are three categories: "Best of the Year" for general board games, "Child" and "Expert" for more complex board games. The panel picks the winners using different criteria: standard of materials, quality of the game mechanics, rule readability and clarity, aesthetics and, of course, the makers' creativity.

From February 21st to 23rd 2020, check out thousands of free-to-play board games, previews, a dozen tournaments, demonstrations and introductions plus conferences and workshops to get a deeper insight into the world of gaming.
Meet your favourite creators, illustrators and publishers of your favourite games at their stands throughout the festival. Try out prototypes for games that haven't come out yet and help their makers finetune them.
Entry is free for everyone from Friday February 21st to Sunday 23rd between 10am and 7pm (entry closes at 6pm).
